Sorry it has been awhile since I last blogged!!!
Things are crazy. Zach's cutting a tooth BIG time, and teething has been no fun in this household.. teething = NO SLEEP!

So far the business is doing really great being out of my home , its a definite change from my studio space that i had in Niwot, which i MISS so much, but financially, this is the way to go!  Thanks to everyone who has come to play so far, its been great fun!

I just wanted to update with some recent work...

This is such a wonderful family. they have been coming to me since i started my business. They have since moved to another state, and still find time to come visit friends here in CO. and make an appointment with me while they are in town. I have enjoyed seeing their children grow, and getting to know them so well over the last 5 years! And they are one of those fun families too!!! ha ha thank you so much for letting me be a big part of your lives!!

 

Big Boy!

Just had to share my big boy, Zachary! he turned 4 months on June 26th i can't believe how FAST time is going... but i am so happy i get to spend all of this time with him.  He is sitting on his own un assisted for about 10seconds.. and can roll from back to tummy. and said "mama" yesterday PERFECTLY! dont know if he realized he said it, and what it means, but ill pretend he did :)

Happy 1st Birthday Aiden!

My second session being back in business,and it was fun! Gosh, has he goten SO big!!! last time i saw him, was 6months old! then i went on maternity leave.  time flys by so fast.  This family has been fun to work with.  I got to photograph mama pregnant, and then Mr. Aiden joined my baby plan.  Its been great watching him grow...  can't believe he's one <sniff sniff>

Girls just wana have fun!!!

And YES we did! My daughter, Gabi had her best friend Jaiden over today- and the girls wanted to play! I had goten this idea , off of a photography forum i was on- and had been wanting to try it out for a long time now.  and YES those are tutu's on their heads , he he! they had so much fun. BUT OMG, they look 10 years older, ack! anyway.. wanted to share some from today..

And then we had to do glamour ones with fluff! ha ha

What a GREAT 1st day back!!!

Today was my first day back.. i was nervous of course, it has been over 5 months since my last shoot- my home studio, is not all the way complete either, but my customers that came today,  made me feel good about my space.  Nora was such a DOLL FACE!!! She was a baby planner of mine, and the last time i saw her was at 9 months old!!! now she's 14 months old, and was such an angel today... mom & dad said she had no nap either,  I couldn't tell!  Nora and her family made it really easy for me to get back into the swing of things. so exciting!!! was such a GREAT time..   I have had so much fun working with this family... I hope we will be able to work again in the future, you guys are awesome! here are a few photos of this cutie patootie!

Gotta love a pee shot!

We all know how i LOVE to capture "pee" shots.  I was so excited to be having a boy, just so i could capture my own, ha ha! And i am proud to announce, i got one!!! now he can be added to my pee-nut gallery!

Back to work!!!

I have had the pleasure of taking much time off with my new son , Zachary- but the time is approaching that i will be back to photographing! Sessions will start this Saturday, June 2nd. I have moved my studio into my home basement which is a huge change for me, as i was in a space for 5 years in niwot. It is very different from my space i was in, but everyone tells me... " people are coming to you for your photo's & talent, not your space " - So, it will work!  I made this switch, so I could be closer to my family, and i am very excited about that!!! So this Saturday is it,  I am excited, yet feeling a bit anxious, since its been awhile.  I will have to post some photo's from my first shoot after were finished ... Until then..  Here are some recent photos of my new lil man, we call monkey boy
